These hoses are intended for use in wet marine-exhaust systems and are approved for use in engines where the exhaust gas is water-cooled. Silicone elbow hoses are highly flexible, helping with any misalignment during the installation process. Their polyester reinforced construction and shiny smooth outer layer means they have a long operating life and are resistant to hardening.
These hoses are 6-ply and have a maximum temperature rating of 180 °C. As with all our silicone hoses, they are tested to and surpass SAE J2006-R3 specifications.
Meta-aramid reinforced versions of this product are available on indent. This variation has a higher maximum temperature rating of 260 °C.
The length specified is for each arm, as opposed to the overall dimension.
